Pineapples

I've bought 3 pineapples two times this week.  Someone on the Internet mentioned that if  the leaves pull off easily, than they are ready to eat. That was good to know.

 My kids were messing around and yanked all the leaves off a immature one.  That's why one one in this picture looks odd.

This plate has about 1 pineapple's worth of fruit.   I did dry two pineapples with this batch, but there was so many fingers snitching drying pineapple, I'm sure half is gone.  Dried pineapple has such a wonderful tart and yet sweet taste, it make a fantastic natural CANDY.
